The most significant point of interest in Okrisky is the Church of the Name of Virgin Mary. The exact date of its origin is unknown however it was certainly built before 1500. It underwent two major reconstructions in 1673 and 1897-8. The main altar is wooden with statues of St. Peter and Paul and Virgin Mary with the Child; the background is decorated with Baroque carvings. The year of its origin is also unknown but it was coated with gold in 1908. The side altar is consecrated to Virgin Mary of Svaty Hostyn and dates back to 1905. The fourteen Stations of the Cross come from 1908. Having 9 stops, the organ was made to order of the prince Collalto in 1896. The Church tower houses two bells, the larger one weighs 280 kg and was cast in the year of 1500, the smaller one having a weight of 150 kg comes from 1711.
The Okrisky Castle's predecessor was a medieval fortress whose beginnings are believed to date back to the pre-Hussite period (perhaps 1375?). During the Renaissance period, a country manor with arched ground graffiti-decorated ground floor, which later underwent Baroque adjustments, was built. In the second half of the 20th century, the Castle and its surroundings were devastated. At present it is the Okrisky's property and the municipality has started a gradual reconstruction of the Castle.
Okrisky is the starting point of two cycling paths through the Cerne lesy ("Black Forests") Microregion; the local countryside at the foothills of Vysocina ("The Highlands") is inviting for walks and hikes. Okrisky is situated within an easy reach from the historic towns of Telc and Trebic where UNESCO monuments can be seen, Jihlava, the centre of the South-Moravian Region and the birthplace of Gustav Mahler, whose points of interest include for example catacombs and ZOO, and many other places that are attractive for visitors.
